How it works

Swaddle in three simple steps.

No folding, no tucking and no loud Velcro. Lay your baby in, fold the mittens, pick a hand position and let the magnets click into place. Seconds, not minutes.

Step 01

Lay your baby inside.

Open the swaddle and lay your baby on their back inside it, just like you would a onesie. At 1.0 TOG, just a diaper underneath is usually enough. Feel the back of the neck to check they’re not too warm.

Pro tip

  • Warm it up. Hold the swaddle against your skin for a minute before bedtime so it feels cozy.

Step 02

Fold the mittens over.

Gently fold the built-in mittens over your baby’s hands to reveal the magnetic pouch. The magnets are sewn into sealed fabric layers and never touch your baby’s skin.

Pro tips

  • Hands free while awake. Leave the mittens folded back for feeds, cuddles and play.
  • Close them for sleep. Fold the mittens over when it’s time to sleep.

Step 03

Choose a hand position and click.

Hands up by the face, crossed in between, or down by their sides. Choose what feels right for your baby, then place the magnetic pouch on one of the body magnets. It settles into place with a soft click when it’s secure. Preferences can change as they grow, and the swaddle changes with them.

Pro tips

  • Newborns often like their hands near the face.
  • Seems unsettled? Try a different position.
  • Start with the stickers. Removable stickers mark where the magnets go, so getting started is easy.
  • Check before each use. Look over the seams and pouches. Stop using the swaddle if the fabric is torn or a magnet is exposed.

Stop swaddling at 3 months or at the first signs of rolling, whichever comes first. Always place your baby on their back on a firm, flat surface.
