Fit and safety

Snug, never tight.

How to check the fit, when to size up, and when to stop.

  1. Snug at the arms and chest, with room for two fingers at the top.
  2. Loose at the hips, so the legs can bend up and out. Never wrap the legs straight down and tight.
  3. Size up when the zipper feels tight across the chest or tummy, or the legs can't bend up and move freely at the hips.
  4. Mittens over for every sleep. Hands out only while your baby is awake and watched.
  5. Stop swaddling at 3 months or at the first signs of rolling, whichever comes first.
